Works and is pretty intuitive
Works on my Mac 10.9.2
Rudimentary program that does what its says it does, quickly. I purchased the upgrade to get rid of the water mark and be able to control zoom levels. What it does is pretty simple, but I know the math behind it is complicated. There are open source command line tools alternatives and I have used them. However the WYSIWYG nature of this tool along with its preview mode eliminates a lot of wasted time.
I like the fact that it can generate a folder structure or an MBTiles database as output. The folder structire is useful if you have different image files for different zoom levels, while the direct to MBTiles database is useful if only a single image is used.
